Our fly hatch is over now and the Walleye are biting. Move tell you find the Walleye on your depth finder then fish them. We are getting a lot of nice eaters in the 14 to 16 ½ range plus a lot of the 17 plus to put back. Moxeys hole in 17 to 19, south end of Moses, Eelpout from the big bend east and Snag hole. Fish from 17 out to 22, when the sun comes up move out to 25 with a Roach rig 5 long and tip with a leech or a crawler. The main bar bite is best in the morning. The Humps are still going mid day on, fish the same depths with a Roach rig. Watch for captron coming up on MNBOUND with Ron Schara, not sure when it will air.
I added your logo to your signature file. I hope you don't mind. I really appreciate it when a guide takes the time to come on here and give a report. Especially this time of year. I know how busy you guys can get.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
