Just got back from a long weekend of fishing at Lac de Mille lac. Usually, our group of 6 is limited out by the first afternoon. Not so this year. At the end of three days fishing, we had 7 walleyes, and 10 northerns. Weather was extremely cool, and had alot of rain on Saturday. Pretty much everyone we talked to was doing the same. Oh well, we still booked for next year already. One bad year out of 20 ain't to bad!
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
