I was wondering how the bite for Largemouths are. It's been almost a year since I last came to this week and maybe going tomorrow. Anyone know it they are shallow or deep and what type of bait they are being caught on? Thanks for any information and I will definitely report back the status of the trip.
Actually, I still have the prop, but it is really dinged. Lost a little metal on this one. That's twice on that lake now. Water is a bit low , eh? I'll have it fixed in a couple of days, if they can repair this one. Or else I'll be looking at a new one.
I've been hitting go bass al season this year and thats in staying pretty shallow water. Lo light is always best and are chart spinner9 with a stinger hook0 and bright buzzbaits have been our lures of choice. GOOD LUCK1
use pearl flukes and stay around the pads, but not too close to shore. pitch under big the wooden dock. thats where i caught a 3.5 lb and a 3.9 lb bass. caught them out of the same area. im pretty sure they are still around there.
I have been fishing Bald for Muskie this year during the week and have noticed that the Bass and bait fish have moved out of the shallows. Bald is seeing it fair share of pressure with the water levels on White bear and the Chisago area down as much as they are.
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
