headed to the brainerd area hoped for a few good bass lake plugs been to north long, gull and all the well known lakes but was looking for some smaller bass factories in the area to change it up a bit,

There is always the White Face Chain for some good fishing. You also have Pelican, Alexander, Crow Wing Lake, Edward, etc. I still think that Gull is the best for bass, though. Most of the reports coming from these lakes are for walleye... could it be that the bass fishermen are a bit more tight-lipped?
