Anybody familiar with that lake? I know it is a good pike lake, and I plan to fish it next week. I have had very limited success on it, and think it may be due to the super green water. Not sure how the color is now, but as far as I know, it is always faily soupy looking. My thought is to troll/cast lots of flashy noisy things like big rattling cranks, and large spinners. Any other thoughts. especially from those with experience on that body of water.
Thanks for the tip. I did check it out, but just lots of generic info on aquatic plants, and of course, the DNR report, which I have seen. I shocked more people are not familiar with this fishery, unless people just don't want to say anything about there honey hole lake.
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~ Chuck Clark
