Well is there anyone out there looking for a good Marketing Communications Coordinator? If so let me know. Maybe there is some networking that can be done through MFP.

Just had the dreaded meeting with HR and I'm out of a job at the end of the week. It was of course nice of them to tell me today instead of yesterday which was my birthday.

I'm currently at the anger phase so I'm trying to hold back on a massive rant that is building up.

Oh man, that blows. Hang in there NoFish.

I somehow got on this distribution list for all the metro nursing home job openings. That may sound odd and, really, they're mostly looking for social workers, nurses, dietitians, etc., but there are occasionally business office positions; things like Marketing Directors and Community Relations people. I'll keep an eye out.

The Mayo Clinic is actually looking for a Marketing Coordinator. But that would be in Rochester.

That Mayo Clinic job is pretty much exactly what I do now and is what I'd like to find. However St. Paul to Rochester is one heck of a commute.

Thanks guys. Now that I have all this free time coming I wish I had the money to get out and do some of the things I haven't had time for.

My boss knows how I feel. My boss and really my company had nothing to do with my lay off. Its complicated but essentially I was screwed over by a big wig in Chicago who decided to move my job to Chicago and give it to someone else. Its a pretty low blow but in the end I don't want to work for a company who will openly screw someone over like that. I'd rather give my time and skills to a company who has a better grasp of corporate ethics.
