All I got to say is that fishing has been fairly productive up on the big pond for the last couple of weekends (and probably weekdays too, though I am up there on Saturdays and Sundays). Been catching a few more fish in the slot then in previous years. This makes for happier fisher people out on the lake. Happier resorts, too. There have been some good reports from some of the guide services reporting up to 50 fish a day. Most have been fishing the gravel bars and using Ye 'Ol Bobber. Fishing has been spotty and movement is the key. Find the fish, drop the line, catch a few and move on to the next hump. Repeat and then repeat again. The fish seem a bit spooked, but you can always manage a few before they scatter. You don't even have to follow the crowds, just find a hump or bar, see some fish on the finder and go for it.
