I spent friday mid afternoon in a sunny spot but only caught a couple. I bailed and went after the elusive walleye for a evening bite. I had my good friends coming up that night and want to pin point a spot for them. On Saturday morning we put on some shallow shads and started trolling. I wanted to let Vinces wife see the lake again since it has been a few years since she has been up. Sun was monster hot on us but we managed. We also started hitting walleyes on the shallow shads which was a bonus! We finished out the day with live bait and lindy rigs and had plenty for a great Lemon Pepper walleye on the grill supper! Enjoy the pics!
By the way if anyone finds a wallet in the middle of Big Sandy Lake Vince would like it back!
Sorry we missed each other....I thought about pulling into Eagle Point but I had someone else with me that had a bad hip and that walk would have not been to good for him. Good to see you getting Vince and his wife into some fish.

If you've got short, stubby fingers and wear reading glasses, any relaxation you would normally derive from fly fishing is completely eliminated when you try to tie on a fly. ~ Jack Ohman, Fear of Fly Fishing, 1988
