I fished Lake Kab and the Ash River last week. Walleyes were biting pretty good on the west side of Harris Island although most were to big to keep. By sunday the fish had guit biting (I saw 3 guides fishing Center Reef Sunday morning and none of them got a fish. Frank House, Don Granger and Bob forget his last name). Found a lot of saugers up in Gold Portage area. Watch the rocks!
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
