Fishing was pretty darn good this weekend. We fished out of the east end out to Agate Bay Reef and 2 mile. Used leeches and the 'ol slip bobber. Rained off and on but we didn't care. In the morning at Agate, we got 7 with the biggest at 25". Mid-afternoon we headed to 2 mile and caught another 4 with the largest at 24". Fishing pretty much between 15 and 20 feet. Water temp is still in the lower 60's.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
