With the low water levels we have already and the lack of flow from drains and discharges things are not where we would like for this time of year. But there is one discharge that is moving some water and with all the stars aligned some nice fish just happened to be in the area when we were. I know the next evening the spot produced minimal fish.
Banged a nice chunky little 25 pounder last night from shore. The Flatheads are preparing for the Spawn now and are getting scarred up. That will slow the bite down considerably here in the near future while they tend to business.
And a 30-lber from Monday night out of a friends Boat!
