I'll be headed out to coon sometime in the next few days. unless it rains the whole time. Haven't hit Linwood lakes since early spring when the crappies were really going good in that area.. The walleyes are doing a lot better in coon then years past and the crappies seemed a little bigger this last winter than the one before. Still moslty small but some real nice ones mixed in too..
Linwood and Martin can be good for panfishing but I havent been to either yet this year. I'll definately get out on martin eventually.
I was part of a 25 boat kids Bass fishing event (50 kids) on Coon 6/11. Only a couple of limits, but the bite had been on the day before. As soon as the sun got up, the bite quit. But those who went to the pads had better luck. We couldn't get a dock bite going, only worming the reed edges produced for us. The water levels are so low, my best areas were gone.
I'll have to take a look next time I drive up there. thank sauzal.
FL corner27. went out to coon and I got a lot of smaller sunfish. Also pulled in some nice bass. I took pictures of my car when I crashed and forgot to put the camera back in my bag so I don't have pics but my buddy caught a 23 inch LM. Probably just over 5 lb. maybe a little less.
We headed from there to forest lake and caught a lot of really nice panfish. in the third lake.. A few bass on accident too.
Also found an ash tree with emerald ash borer and told the DNR.. So everyone in washington county should take pictures now. Soon the landscape will be changed quite a bit. There isn't anything anyone can do for the ash trees now. It'll take a few years I suppose but they are gonna be gone. All of them. sucks huh?

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~ Chuck Clark
