I just thought everyone should know they sell pretty nice rods for a good price and they have a great return policy on them too! I had two of them that were broken, one was broken in half (my fault), and the other one was missing the inside of the last (smallest) eyelet. They were both exchanged with no receipt and no questions asked. If anyone is looking for a good quality rod and doesn't want to spend $100-$300, I would go there and see if they have one you like. Just my 2 cents
i too like the gander mountain rods. over the last couple years i've replaced my 3 spinning rods with gander mountain rods and couldn't be happier. i haven't had to return any, but its nice to know they have a good policy. i have an ultra-light, a medium, and a heavy/long spinning rod. their reels seem ok too. i have a 25 (the $59 variety) and 35 (the $39 variety) size that i bought this year. the reels seem comperable to most other $60-$100 reels (7-10 ball bearing spinning reels).
same story here i recently retured a rod that i bought a few years ago. the guy told me they will oner the old policy but now the new ones only have a year or two depending on the series. for my money i agree i havent bought any rods anywhere else since. good day and keep those line tight
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~ Chuck Clark
