Mallard and I tagged several crappies this last 3 days.

I suppose we were right around 400 for about 20 hours of fishing!

Downsizing was the ticket. No one who stopped by caught a fish really except those that stopped over for some 3 test Gama line and a fe jig.

Many minnow guys left with nothing.
We tossed all of those bigg 12-14 inch females.but these males made a decent dinner.

There's still time left as these males only got dark aftewr being in the warmer livewell.

We definitly had a gas out there.
This body of water has a great year class of thick 10" crappies up and coming.
Here's a few more pic's and yes Webdude by all means on the pics!

Awesome, those are beautiful. Good idea to let the ones go that got golf balls in their bellies. It's easy to tell which are female. What's the biggest so far, in inches? I suppose no minnow.... smile smiley or do you use them this time of year?

No minnows Dan.... crazy smiley The biggest so far has been a bunch of 14's.
There is a very good year class of up and commers at 10"...very thick backs and they are healthy.
Ain't kep a slabber over 12 and those were bigger ones males.
There's been a few smaller females in the mix that I've taken.
I do try to stay with the males though.
