A good fishing buddy of mine woke up to some bad news Sun.morn.He owns a trailer at the eastside marina just no.of hunters point on millelacs lake.He had a bunch of friends that he grew up with in wisc.come up for some walleye fishing fishing over the weekend.Sometime Sat.night the maggots got out of the cleaning shack and stole every thing out of the boat. With out getting into specifics He figured between all of them the take was about 4000 dollars..Luckily he had insurance so its only going to cost him 500,but still not good! So this is just a heads up to all MFP's that they are out there and times aren't good.Do your homework on a plan for how to avoid this happening to you.I just think of all the times I've been up there and left all my gear in his boat and never considered the fact that it could happen in "little" eastside marina.I will watching my stuff a little closer from here on out. On a lighter note the fishing has been excellent up there,Hopefully I will get up there soon.I hope to have the boat ready by this weekend so isaacson can have some competition.
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
