it was a slow opener thsi year for many. but some people got alot of fish consistantly, and some nice ones at that.

most people were fishing jigs tipped with fatheads or shiners. they fished it real slow.

most walleyes are in 10-15 feet. but as the sun sets they move up to 5-8 feet. then at dark they have been moving up in 1 to 2 feet!

once they are shallow, casting rapalas has been the best.
