I am going up to Lake Kabetogama the weekend after the opener and I can use some help.
I've fished Namakin in the fall with good success, but I've fished Kab only once in the spring and that was years ago. We fished Nebraska Bay primarly and did well, but I am curious about other areas that are productive early.
We are going to camp on the east end of the lake and I'd be most interested in the Ash River to Sugarbush Island area.
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
