Had a fishing tournament out there today. We took 2nd place out of 33 boats. The fishing wasn't fast and furious like the last trip to Waconia but the fish were nicer. All teams weighed in 10 fish ours weighed in at 5lb 5oz.We ended up 3oz out of 1st.I don't want to talk about the one I lost next to the boat.If any of MFP's are planning on hitting Mtka and need a helping hand you can P.M. me and I'd be glad to help
Thanks WebDude, I can't believe the luck I've had down here at these competition events,I've never fished them before.I fished a firemans contest in victoria in Jan.I took 3rd in that contest and won a fishtrap guide fishhouse.I like to call it lucky because you can't win tournaments without it, BUT you have to know something to be able to be competitive because there are alot of people that know how to fish. I know I could do some damage on MilleLacs cause I've been fishing that lake longer than the Indians Well maybe not that long.If any of MFP's would like some help on the big sea,I can help.I;m an old man who has put his time in on MilleLacs and been humbled by MilleLacs also.2 years ago I caught a 48in muskie at 4am and a 9lb 9oz walleye 10min. before.I have caught 100's of walleyes over 5lbs I have plenty of wisdom to share with MFP's. WebDude With all the money you make on this site maybe you could sponsor me in a tournament.
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~ Chuck Clark
