I have one from 2008 and it says expires February 28th, 2009 (unless noted elsewhere, which mine isn't). My 2008 residential annual license says the same thing, but underneath it says effective 03/01/2008 through 04/30/2009. I don't know if that helps ya.
Yeah, an annual resident license isn't too bad ($18), I forget what I paid for my Trout Stamp. But Non-residents are expensive!!! I went up to my cabin last weekend in Western Wisconsin so I bought an annual fishing license for Wisconsin and it was 50 bones!!!!!
my 08 license says February or march (can't remember) for expiration. Most of my friends licenses said April 30th. But a couple of ours said earlier dates.. When I asked the officer he just told me they all expire the 30th regardless. seems strange to me but I figured I'd mention it.
I paid my 50 bucks for Wisconsin license too and got the trout stamp on top of that. Probably going to skip grouse hunting Wisconsin because of the cost. I'm probably going to go up by chisholm again. last year it was great up there.
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
