We hit a few different lakes this last 3 days. The surface temps hovered about 50 degrees. We fished in 4-9 fow.Utilizing the float-n-fly method we managed to drill close to 150-200 fish in 2.5 days of fishing. This included crappies, gills and bass plus 1 pike and 1 painted turtle. Fri. was the day for numbers although Sat. seemed to bring us better sized slabs... Sun was a cold raw wet day and we did not last long but we caught several and had fun.

Ditto Webdude. Hey PB... how ya been? I hope your year on the open water is a good one. Mallard and I will be hitting another lake for monster gills this weekend. Hopefully we can get a bit of sun to warm that water a few degrees.

Even if you've been fishing for three hours and haven't gotten anything except poison ivy and sunburn, you're still better off than the worm. ~ Author Unknown
