Well I went out tonight to a small lake by waconia and they bit like crazy! A little small for my liking but alot of fun. We were fishing in about 15 feet of water. They bit anywhere from 7 to 14 feet. I was using a small jig with a white head and pink plastic body I'm not even sure what it's called but they liked it.Tipped it with some red eurolarve. The sunnys were 7 or 8 inches and the crappies were 8 to 10 inches. We fished out in front of an inlet. The ice was about 2 feet thick.Did anybody else get out?

Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
