Hey guys, I'm just wondering if any of you fish between the Alexandria and Fergus Falls area. I've been cooped up in college for most of the winter besides the weekends and my spring break will be here in less than a week and i'm just wondering if any lake is hot right now. Thanks much, BassMan25
Hi BassMan, I don't know if minnewaska is someplace you might want to try but they are catching nice sunfish there.Try calling kyle at fishon baitshop in glenwood he will put you on them. The no.is 3206343667. He's a good guy and will go out of his way to help you. Make sure you tell him that spotchecker sent you. I'm sure that will get you special treatment. LMAO. Good luck & good timing on the break.
Cool, I'm glad you joined. WELCOME! If anybody wants info on minnewaska here's a guy that will be very helpful. Oh by the way KFC stands for kyles fishing club.Just a little joke between us.My last time up there I wasn"t real bright and tried the cross country lake excursion, well needless to say I spent half the day pushing a fully loaded 4wd pickup around the lake when we should have been fishing. The joke was about him putting everybody on fish and sending this fatguy out on the lake to push the truck around.
Thanks SpotChecker, I was tied up most of the weekend, but I did get a chance to go out to West Lost yesterday, about 20 minutes north of my house and did very well on sunnies and crappies. It was hard to get off the lake with with my car and all the water on the ice. Well i'm headin' back out. See ya
