Hey spotchecker,

Welcome to My Fishing Pals. Glad to have you aboard!

Thanks for the kudos. Sometimes I think I am a bit too passionate and sometimes I am embarrassed when I look back at some of the old posts I've made... It doesn't matter, though. I've made the posts and now they sit there for everyone to read. My only goal is to make this the best place for like-minded people to hook up and share... whether it's info or whatever.

You are right Steve. I don't even use the other fishing sites anymore. This is one of the easiest forums to use and there is very low bashing of opinions and techniques. Great forum, great information.

Are We Doing Good Things is by far the best piece written. IF 'Dude edited it down a bit to not reflect the connection to this site, it would make a great story.

Howdy HookedGood, Wow after reading all that I had to shut'er down and absorb what I just read. I had never even noticed the motivations of some. There is so much to learn on the net and I got tutored on some things yesterday. Thanks for the link, very interesting.
Hi Isaacson, Actually I was refering to the clearwater lake just south of deerwood, It's quite a smallmouth lake good for all species though. Some big eyes in there also. I love rice lake which is in your neck of the woods. I've caught 1 1/4 lb sunfish in there, also big walleyes & crappies in there. Big fish time is coming up on rice!!!
Hey BigBite, You could sell me with some gps coords.LOL
CrazyOutdoorsmen, I actually got booted from another site but we're not going there right! I think we got that covered previously.
Thanks for the warm welcome all and by the way dude the new page looks nice

I think you are going to find a lot of users here that have been booted from at least a site or two out there. That is what is so refreshing about this site. It is run by all of us... the users. We vote on upgrades and changes and anything that has to do with the site. We can slam products we don't like and give kudos to the products we do like. No sponsors means no problems. Other sites have tried to emulate this site, but really, for profit sites cannot do what we can do here. The moderators here aren't Gods and 'Dude has picked some good ones to run the place. I personally got fed up with some other sites and now spend most of my online time here. Very democratic and really a great way to run a site. Kind of fun too, because you never really know where a post, the design, or whatever, will go.
