Does anyone around the Fargo-Moorhead area know how the recent rain fall will effect the ice thickness on lkaes like Lida, Crystal, and Lizzie. who had 20 inches of ice last week.

you might lose an inch or two at best with the freezing temps at night and upcoming cooler weather you will just have honey comb pockets just be smart and safe. its that time of year season winding down get ready for open water action best fo luck to you.

Exactly what Ice said. You loose the loose snow cover but not the bulk of ice. It doesnt go that fast.

I just picked up some Baffin -40 rubber boots from sportsman guide online for 35 bucks! That should help with the water.
