Been a while. Figured I'd check in and what better way to do so than with a fishing report.
Last Weekend: First time out on the ice. 30' of water. Nice action at 4pm. Got my first HUGE jumbo perch. Put 3 in the freezer that night.
Today: Back out on the lake. 8' of water. Slaughtered em'!!! 10 Giant Jumbo perch in waves every 20-30 minutes. Also, got my second fish ever on a tip-up. Total fish caught, around 20; total time out, around 3 hours.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
