The following are some articles (that also contain links etc) about fishign line that I have bookmarked the past couple years:

http://fishing.about.com/library/weekly/aa042897.htm

A crankbait article about choosing line: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/iaconelli_crankbaits.html

If yer fishing Bass read this one about the ROD making a large difference: http://www.bassresource.com/beginner/bass_fishing_rods.html

Another article from BassResource.com comparing Braided line to mono:
http://bassresource.com/fishing/braided_mono.html

I don't know if any of these will help ya.. but the article about fishing RODS helped me last year when I started running Rat-L Traps in the fall...9 casts/9 fish on labor day keeps me going back to bass resource all the time.

For the "5 Ways To Fish a Dardevle Spoon" see http://www.dardevle.net/dardevlecgi/index.pl?init=1
(by the way, these retrieves are versatile enough for most any spoon. They also cover the entire water column depth from top to bottom. A great bonus is that weather patterns that will determine the level of fish aggressiveness to chase baits can be matched to the most effective retrieve styles).

For the recommeded Eppinger/Dardevle spoon sizes and styles for any fish species please see
http://www.eppinger.net/guide.htm and http://www.dardevle.net/dardevlecgi/index.pl?init=1
Look on the right hand column of icon choices and choose "Fishing Techniques" to see "THE 5 WAYS TO FISH A DAREDEVLE SPOON.

Interesting and helpful stuff. Good Fishing To All.
