Lake Marion in Lakeville, the bite was going last i heard. i haven't been out in a week, due to a trip to lake of the woods. they aren't monsters but fish in the 8-10 inch range are fairly common. i normally am there and out inside an hour or two. normally going between 830-10 for the best bite. i heard the afternoon bite was decent, but i haven't been out durring those times.
they are biting in the bay right at the public access. so you don't have to go far. the northerns have been slow in this area, i do know that the largemouth are in the area too. once in a while a small walleye as well.
hope that helps.

If you've got short, stubby fingers and wear reading glasses, any relaxation you would normally derive from fly fishing is completely eliminated when you try to tie on a fly. ~ Jack Ohman, Fear of Fly Fishing, 1988
