It is hard to get people to talk about this lake or nobody wants to. I posted a week and a half ago and only one person answered after I said what I caught out there. You can go back and look at it (white bear) and see what was posted. Some one else did too a few days before me and was directed towards bald eagle. I have fished bald eagle many times over the last 6 years and have never cuaght a crappie over 9", and the eyes are few and far apart, although they are in there. On white Bear I caught all eyes on crappie minnows with small white and blue tear drop jig. Jiggin got me nothing inless the eyes came in to see it and took the minnow instead. Don't be afraid to fish were no one else is cause you never Know!!
you got that right i think every time i have ever been on white bear lake i havnt caught anything then one of my buddies will go out and catch a 15-16 inch crappie so that makes me want to go back out there and i go to the same spot they went and dont catch a single fish. i dont get that lake at all.
Webdudue you caught some nice crappies out of bald eagle huh? Man, I have had days out there in the winter where I have caught 30 crappies in 5 hours and never had to move. It was fun but never anything big. Hats off to you for finding them!!

People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
