that was in the fall of 2006, i was fishing out of TWIN PINES launch up by garrison MN. not exactly sure where we were on Mille Lacs. but i was up there just relaxing as the night bite hadn't turned on and someone's 10 year old noticed that i had a bite and it looked like a typical perch bite. so i wasn't concerned. then my leech decided he was going for a ride. my rig just completely dissappeared. there was not 1,2.... 10 count it was reaction and set the hook. 10 minutes later i had that hog up on the water just pissed. was an awesome fight. got the pics, put her back in the water, and the best part was that my dad (who was stationed in iraq at the time) called me 5 minutes after i released the fish. he loves to walleye fish so i had to send the pics as proof for now i have the largest walleye caught in the family!
