I fished Lake Minnewaska at Glenwood on Saturday and it was the dead sea! We rented a house from Fish On! Bait Store in Glenwood which was sitting on an area they call Crappie Town. We had a couple of cameras down and did see a few perch and crappie but all we caught wer 1 northern and 1 small sunny. The owner of the bait store emailed last night and said he had moved his houses to another location(by the high school?) and they picked up some walleyes last night. Next time I'll bring the Clam and my auger so we can be a little more mobile.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
