Has anyone fished the east side of white bear south of the point? It seems like a alright spot to try, some structure and not to deep. I'm looking for walles. So if anyone wants to drop me a hint or tip I would like to here it. Thanks
are you talk about penisula? if so i fish the eastsise of it alot spring and winter and do really good there. not to many anglers there either their all on the rock bars. this place is ful of humps deep water close to shallow bars. there is a good supply of perch there that atracts the eyes. put a tipup out in shallow water always produces big pike. catch big perch and walleyes and so big sunnie and crappie. fish off the tip of the point for eyes. there some ice shacks in that area too.
I was talking south of the point. But because I talked to a guy at the bait shop off 61 in hugo I went into the bay east of vfw. If you go out of belair park and look left there is a big cluster of houses, I stopped 50 yards south of them and was in sixteen ft. Cuaght everything on crappie minnows. next time I will be going to the east side.
