i was wondering if anyone was hitting up Bald Eagle in WBL area? i want to try this lake but i have no clue on where might be a good place to start or what possibly is biting on the lake now.

Just got of the phone with my son. He is fishing for northerns right now down there. He said 14 inches of great ice, and only a few inches of snow. If you are looking for Crappies fish the around the island out there. Good Luck

I wanted to take my wife and son out ice fishing on bald eagle but also not sure where to go. my wife and son have never been ice fishing before so i was hoping to find a good spot so they can catch some crappies or walleyes and have good time.

deep hole se of island between island and bullrushs in summer(east to SE of island) good crappie spot! ITs a good lake though fish are a little small right now.

Hi all we are going out there today going to try again for a walleye. the crappies where doing ok last weekend in 20 feet of water and they where abput 4 feet off the bottom. Did ok on a orange and yellow tear drop tipped with a small crappie minnow. It seemed the smaller minnow caught more fish than the bigger ones.
