For the shallow water bite check out Raven's point in 8' of water with a 1/8oz glow water melon fire-ball jig tipped with a fathead minnow. The main bars are starting to go with Snag Hole, north/south side of center, Moxey's hole and the Humps being the best. Fish from 19' to 21' with a Roach rig and a red bead stretch it to 45"/60" long. The length depends on the speed you are moving. Tip the Snell with a leechs or a pumped up crawler. A lot of nice eaters in the 14" to 16" range coming off the deeper bars plus a lot of action releasing the 17" to 26" Walleye.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
