bryant lake in eden prairie... about a 20-25 minute drive.

row boats, can bring up to a 10 horse to put on the boat, 3 dollars per half hour. or, 25 dollars for a daily rental.

good bass.

nice tiger musky.

let me know if you need more info.

Hi 762400,

Welcome to My Fishing Pals!

I have always had pretty good luck on Big Marine for crappies and bass, if that's what you want to go for. There are lots of lakes in the area that have a multitude of different species. Musky, walleyes, panfish, bass, catfish, etc. Gonna need to know what your looking to fish for.

Thanks for the info...bass, walleye, musky are always a lot of fun, especially if the boys get to catch or see a bigger fish!

We would not mind driving an hour from St. Paul to fish. Any more info is greatly appreciated!

lake crystal in lakeville is a good bet for easy bass and small northern fishing. i would have to agree that bryant lake takes the prize though if you dont mind driving the extra 10 minutes to get there, especially with the boat rental options there. if youre really serious about catching walleye, you could undergoe an hour and a half drive to Mille Lacs lake and rent out a guide or charter (neither of which are as expensive as they might sound) and youll be almost assured to catch a decent amount of quality fish. i would recommend staying away from minnetonka if you have any fears whatsoever about getting run over by a waterskier or personal watercraft. now that ive confused you, good luck
