-Blue Lake this morning between Isanti and Princeton has alot of guys out from the access. One permanent, and a few portables across the entire bay. Usually good crappie in there and always full of fisherman. -Baxter next door has had foot traffic, (no one there this morning) and looks to have some spots fished off to the NW of access. -Fannie had some foot tracks from the access, with a sled out about 100 yards, then circled and came back (guessing it was thin) lots of springs?? -Puals had a few portables off the island (spearing?) and a permanent SE from the access. A good spot is just past the permanent (a drop from 8-14' within about 30 feet) I've had good fishing there, and a good variety. Northern,Crappie,Perch, and Bass) Small golden jig with big fatheads have been working good. I know there are springs in here, and the ice depth varies, also a few slushy spots yesterday. Be careful.
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
