Made it out on Little Green (Chisago)on Sunday for a little early tip up fishing. Ice was thin and just fished the shallow weedline. Had one flag that bit me off. Ice was just a little to thin to venture out to my eye spot.
I'm a returning member here, but I risked it last weekend out on a pond outside of Moorhead, mn. Well it paid off and my brother pulled in a 20" walleye and a gal pulled in a 1lb walleye last night on the same pond. Using a jigging spoon tipped with a minnow head. I can't say where (sworn to secrecy)
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
