This Friday at 2:00 pm anyone that wants to stop by the public landing and release a fish please stop by; once again this was not easy to accomplish but worth all the effort, these are larger fish for the most part with a few in the 20+ inch range. _________________________
I'm from Faribault, I have family that lives on the Northern short of French... I wish I was going to be down there. I live in Brooklyn Center now, and heading down that way at that time of day is a bit rough. Granted I could see family down there while in the area, but I can't take off the day on such short notice.
Good luck, though, sounds like it'll be a really good time!
Yep 129 from 14 to 22-24 inch fish Thanks to raffle tix sales and The Hugh Becker fund, it was a great day.
Here's the pics I have from today It was nice to see new faces and some that I hadn't seen in awhile. Many thanks to MN DNR especially Marc in Waterville and Jack in New Ulm Thank You for all your help. Thanks also to Mr Steve Puchtel owner of McKensay Fish Co Thank You sir.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
