I've been posting non-fishing-report stuff in the fishing reports forum and I've not been posting anything in this forum because I didn't know it was here. So does this form get more interaction than the reports forum? Just curious, really...

Anyway...

Well,

I just moved this post into the "not related to fishing" forum smile smiley

There are actually 11 forums on the site. Moderators are instructed to move posts if they do not fit into the forum that they were posted in. For example, the forum you posted in for this question was the "general fishing" forum. I moved it to the "not related to fishing" forum because it is not related to fishing. To see all of the forums, you can go to the main forum page located here...

All forums are in the left hand menu. I know it is confusing. People usually just look at the lates posts and when they want to post something, they really have no idea what forum they are in. A hint is to look at the text in the upper left hand corner of any forum. That will give you an idea.

Also, if you read the text below the left hand menu in any of the forums, you will see a description of the forum and what is allowed to be posted in that forum.

Here is the list of forums...

Argh... dunno why it removed my links, but eh. Is it OK to request you move a couple posts to a new forum? Let me know the protocol. wink smiley

A couple of things, ArmchairDeity,

First, I only moved the first link to the general forum. The second link looked okay to me. It was in the fishing reports and you were giving some good info, so what the heck... it can stay there.

The second is that if you use the "Add Link" button, you need to highlight the text you want to add a link to, otherwise you are adding a link to nothing. It's easy, just highlight the text, click on "Add Link" and put the link in there, and then click "Okay." The text that you hightlighted now is a link.
