Am looking to build a crappie rod on a St. Croix blank. Will be mostly vertical jigging in ~30' of water with up to 1/4 oz. jigs.
What would your preferences for a rod blank be?

Thanks

Welcome to the site, Kakagi! I would personally go with a 5 to 6 foot mid-modulus graphite ultralight in the 2 to 3 ounce range. Might want to look at the blanks they use to build the Triumph series.

Sand Burr would probably know a lot more about this stuff then I would.
