I want to thank Minnestoa for allowing me to spend another great week fishing in your fine state. I spent the week fishing Clearwater, mainly for largemouth Bass. We found the water temps a little warm for this time of year, 68 degrees on the 20th and it was only down to 64 by Friday the 26th. Thats my excuse for not catching a lot of fish. I caught about 30 bass over the whole week, the largest at about 17 inches. I usually only fish topwater lures but resorted to a jig and craw a few times and did land some nice fish. My brother in law caught a nice 19 + with a motor oil color craw. We fished a few times for the elusive Waleye. Graphed a few but no takers. We used 2 1/2 inch fat heads. I caught my smallest fish ever, a 3 1/2 inch perch. A couple of my buddies did ok using senco worms by Gary Yamamoto. Color was also brown or tan. As usuall as soon as I left I want to go back.
P.S. If I would have won that 200 million in Powerball I would have bought that lake!
