Of all the fish in Miunesota, I have yet to catch a pink salmon. Althou I do live in Buffalo, so driving up takes for some planning. How are you catching them? You can E-mail if you would like. jigginjim@aol.com thanks
This time of year it is best to use spawn bags. You can buy eggs by the bottle or as artificial. Keep in mind, though, that fresh is always best. Some bait shops in the area will have these pre-tied for you and you can buy them there. If you tie your own, you can use orange netting along with some colored styrofoam pellets. The pellets will add color and help keep it floating off the bottom. You can use either fresh salmon eggs or steelhead spawn. You can also add borax. The borax makes the eggs rubbery which makes them great for single egg use.
