Okay, the fishing was very slow. Did manage to land a xouple of walleyes but didn't keep anything. Caught some perch and a couple of northerns too. Tried leeches but they were having none of that so went with fatheads instead on plain lime hooks. Wind was out of the south all weekend and I think that might have had something to do with the slow bite... oh well, nothing I can do about it. All fish were caught in less then 11 feet around the rockpiles.
Web I can honestly say I only spent one day out on Sandy! I did although hit a lake in the near vacinity that gave up some great walleyes and even nicer crappies! The crappie team over at our campsite caught plenty of crappies all weekend out on sandy. That will be another subject in a different forum.

Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
