Reminds me of the ducks we had on the farm. Every Spring the mother duck would hatch a bunch of ducklings and when they were big enough, lead them down to the pond for their first swimming lesson. She'd take them out onto the water and there'd be splashes behind her as the bass and pike ate 'em. Every year she'd swim back to shore alone. Slow learner.
