My wife Linda has a pancreatic tumor on the head of the pancreas, about ½ inch in diameter. She will be going to St. Joseph hospital in Ann Arbor for an endoscopic biopsy, then next Monday. Then she will most likely be going to U of M or Barbara Carmados Cancer center for surgery. Its not diagnosed as cancer yet, but given the position, it probably is. We certainly cannot predict the outcome of all this, we all know the outcome of pancreatic cancer, but lets hope for the best. Its in Gods hands, and thats all I can say. Thanks Nels (Skeeter)
For what it is worth, I am from SE Michigan originally and both the Univ. of Mich. and Karmanos facilities are top notch. She'll be in good hands at either one. Hopefully it was caught early enough and she'll pull through. Keep us posted.
