Spent the day on Vermillion today with two buddies. Caught a pile of 10"-13" walleyes that we threw back. We did end up limiting out on some nicer 15"-17" walleyes. The little ones were 10-1 on the bigger ones. The bite was by far the best in the morning to late morning. Caught them in about 20-25 ft of water with plain hook and a leech. Seemed like everybody else was doing about the same. Lots of little ones. We did throw 3 back in the slot about 18"-20".
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
