Hi Everyone, I've been lurking for awhile, and decided to register.

I'm from NW Iowa, and I'm getting into seining creek chubs, and I have access to dozens and dozens of gallons of chubs. Some 4" up to 8" & 9" chubs, shiners as well, even big suckers!. I'm curious if any of you know of any live bait wholesalers in Minnesota or could point me in the right direction to get in contact with someone who would be interested in buying large lots of live chubs? I realize I'm little late for this fishing season, but I'm thinking ahead to next spring.

I appreciate it, Thanks,
Nick

I know there's a law about NOT bringing minnows into Minnesota from another state.. can't positively say that applies to what you're looking at or not, but hitting Google to see if I can find something about that.

Thanks Guys,

I believe I came across some things about minnows not being transported because of diseases and what not.

When I think of minnows, I'm thinkin fatheads, and smaller type bait fish. Not chubs/shiners. But I realize they're categorized as "minnows" in some states/areas. All lumped together.

Thanks for the help.

Actually what I found says 'live bait' so it could mean just about anything... best to of course be licensed in your own state to sell them first.. then look into supplying other states. I'm pretty sure you'll need some sort of special Iowa state license to collect mass quantities for the purpose of selling.
