Stealing this from my blog rather than type it twice, I just got home.

I was coming home from Wal-Mart and wanted to check out how an area of the St. Louis River that's been clogged with brush and trees turned out after the rains last week. I figured I couldn't even cast into the area before I got there because everything was pushed up against a culvert since winter.

There was just enough opening to see if maybe a Smallmouth might be hiding under the brush so I decided to cast...

Nope, No Smallmouth...

Always worth the chance...even if I hadn't caught anything. It's a great little spot.. I took a 5 lb smallmouth last year but have no proof since I left the camera at home. Since I bought my 12 Megapixel Kodak Easyshare this winter I have no excuse for not getting pictures.. no reason to leave it or forget it at home.

Just be careful with the new camera. I have a Kodak Easyshare, but only 3.2. I rec'd it as gift from my missus a few years ago. It hasn't ever gone with me on hunting or fishing trips. Id hate for it to get dropped, wet, or something. I haven't ever taken a lot of pics, but when i do, I try to use a disposable camera.

Anyway, I am glad you showed us & hope to see more from you!

Good Luck!

Yep.. it doesn't matter what brand though, a digital camera as well as a cell phone.. do *NOT* like water smile smiley I know better than that though and if I were going out on the boat I'd bring my old 3.2 MP HP camera instead. That one's 5 years old and would have to do for photos from a boat rather than the shore.
