Just got off the water about a half hour ago. I invited a neighbor to come on out and do some fishing with me... I hate fishing alone. He had to be home by 11am so we started at about 5:30 this morning. Caught a lot of little stuff, but put 10 in the bucket using crappie minnows. I did land a walleye that cruised along. Fish are cleaned and they're in the frying pan right now. Mmmmm Mmmmm... I need some breakfast, eh? Fishing was actually a lot slower then I thought it would be. Between us, we probably caught about 30 fish. Funny though, we caught most of these in the last half of the morning. Wouldn't you know it? I almost turned around and headed back, but the wife roped me into helping her plant flowers... oh well... if she is willing to fry up the fish, I gotta be willing to help with the flowers smile smiley

nice fish...
about the walleye..
fishermen could keep any size walleyes right?
just 6 walleye per person and only 1 over 20"?
i think it's like that but i'm not sure...

Nice catch! So you're out in White Bear Area? Any storm damage your way? We got lucky.

No damage to the house, lots of junk in the yard, though. The tornado went through about a mile and a half to the north of us. I'm in Lino Lakes. We got hit pretty hard last year. I had to put on a new roof and siding on one side. The problem was I unintentionally owned two houses back then and I had upped my deductable to $5000 to help with the double mortgage.... that was a big mistake. Funny... three weeks ago I started thinking... I better reduce my deductable so I didn't get caught with my pants down again... glad I did, even though nothing happened this time blush smiley
