What do you suppose will come of the debate? Is he going to change our mind? Doubt it. Are you going to change his? Doubt that as well.

The only thing that will happen is that you will both spout your opinions, the blood pressure will start to rise, and you both end up frustrated and you won't have accomplished a single thing.

Let it go, go out and do something productive instead. Or better yet here's an idea... go fishing and come back and post a report. We would all appreciate reading that more then pointless debates.

Chasen,
If you want to make a difference and truly fight against these special interest groups an internet fishing forum is not the place to get results. Take the fight to the courts, call your local representatives, start a petition, there are a million more productive methods for getting things done.
Fighting against on lone person on a forum won't change the laws, it won't even change the mind of the one person you are fighting with.

Its great you want to put energy into fighting for your beliefs but I want to suggest that you put your energy into something that may actually yield results.
