I went down to cannon falls to try get some whitebass, walleye, and bass action... but i guess they shut off the dam so the water level dropped...and some parts were only ankle height... there were probably over 100's of trout but i wasnt sure what kind they were... they were shiny, not very shiny but they werent dark either... they had red fins...and looked kinda silver-ish, reddish... so i wasnt sure... anyone know what kind of trout that is?...if anyone has been down there and tried trout fishing on the cannon river before, i'd like to knwo what kind of flies do they bite...and what time the dam closes and opens....thanks!
hahaha yeah iono if they're trout of not becuzz i've never seen trouts that look like the ones i saw on the cannon river... seems like they're REDHORSE... i just googled up to see how it looks like and it somewhat looks like that... is there a limit or something on those kind of fish?

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home. ~ Roderick Haig-Brown, Fisherman's Spring, 1951
